DIRECTIONS AND CAUTION
St. John’s Wort tea is made by steeping 1–2 teaspoons of dried herb in a cup of hot water for 5–10 minutes, then straining and drinking warm—optionally with honey or lemon. It’s best enjoyed once or twice daily in the morning or early afternoon, as it can interfere with sleep. While known for its calming and mood-lifting effects, it should not be taken with medications like antidepressants, birth control, or blood thinners, and it may increase sensitivity to sunlight. It’s not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and excessive use can cause side effects like dizziness or dry mouth.
